Warning:  Domain Name Registration / Transfer ScamIt has come to our attention that there is a domain name scam doing the rounds.  If you receive a domain transfer or renewal notice for your domain names which you have not requested or know that the renewal is not due please do not action but investigate immediately.I have received a request myself and have attached the email scam which you can view by clicking here this was to transfer a domain to a new administrator (very convincing!) and the second came via the post which was a renewal notification.First course of action is to check your paperwork or with your administrator if a renewal is due and who payment is due to.  If not due bin the request and set the address to junk mail ensuring that another person in your company does not action.  My hosting company advised that many have been caught out by the email transfer request and have paid out quite a lot of money to retrieve their domain name.
